10.6km (6.6 miles). Starting on road for a mile or so, then through the trails of Brislington Brook and St Anne's wood, Netham Park and Sparke Evans Park, then into Arnos Vale cemetery for 2 miles exploring the network of unmapped trails in the vast muddy, hilly, overgrown and mostly abandoned graveyard of Arnos Vale cemetery. You really don't want to forget your headtorch on this one! Trail shoes definitely needed as there are steep ascents and descents on muddy trails.

About 5 miles. The first four miles are a loop around St. Philips and Brislington, about 50% road, 50% park/trail. There is a steep slippery descent so trail shoes are advised unless conditions are very dry. The final mile will be an exploration of some of the trails in Arnos Vale cemetery (likely to also be steep and slippery in places). If anybody doesn't wish to run around the cemetery, for whatever reason, it will be possible to go straight to the pub instead.
Free parking is available on the Paintworks site, food (mainly pizzas and salads) is served until 10pm so no need to pre-order.
